MOTIVATIONAL GURU

Motivation is the activation of goal-oriented behavior. According to various theories, motivation may be rooted in the basic need to minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure, or it may include specific needs such as eating and resting, or a desired object, goal, state of being, ideal, or it may be attributed to less-apparent reasons such as altruism, selfishness, morality, or avoiding mortality. Conceptually, motivation should not be confused with either volition or optimism. Motivation is related to, but distinct from, emotion
Motivation is something which forces you to achieve what you need. Motivation may be due to external stimuli or self motivation. But self motivation is very indeed in a person.
Drives and desires can be described as a deficiency or need that activates behaviour that is aimed at a goal or an incentive. These are thought to originate within the individual and may not require external stimuli to encourage the behaviour. Basic drives could be sparked by deficiencies such as hunger, which motivates a person to seek food; whereas more subtle drives might be the desire for praise and approval, which motivates a person to behave in a manner pleasing to others.
But what matters is that man should be motivated toward his goal. A man can get success only if he is motivated towards his goal, because one can give his best only when he is completely concerned about goal.
Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. But that 99% perspiration is only ignited by that 1%.
So be motivated.
